Coaching Qualifications: National "C" License
Coaching + Playing Background: Played club soccer in Wisconsin. Collegiate soccer at Cornell College (IA) for 2 years, as well as at Gustavus Adolphus College (MN) for 2 years. I've been coaching since the age of 16, working with my local youth club in Wisconsin until moving to Iowa for school. While there, I became a Staff Coach for local club, FC United, and was the head coach for the Women's Varsity Program at Anamosa High School. After moving to Minnesota to complete my Bachelor's degree, I became involved as a soccer coach for Coerver Soccer, and after graduating became the Assistant Coach for the Women's soccer team at Gustavus Adolphus College. Since moving to Seattle in 2015, I've primarily been coaching with Bellevue United FC, Mercer Island FC, and our XL program.
Reason for Coaching: I coach because I love being a part of the development journey of these young players. They are constantly growing not only in their technique, but in how they think, problem solve, interact with others, and it is immensely satisfying to help push them towards these new experiences where they can grow and learn within a fun and competitive environment.
